Tundra=Terminated

We're out of the tundra here in Pocatello and into a pleasantly
greenish glade of poplar and spruce!
I made it friends.  I wasn't sure if I would.  But I did.
The new echo-y
house (I haven't much to fill it with), my full clutch of puppies and I are all the best of friends
and are reveling in our belonging to each other.
I think, sometimes, to myself that I am living in a one story Green Gables.
That's a sneak peek of my new bedroom.
Note the ceiling to floor window to the left of my bed (the living room and bedroom feature these fabulous portals to the outside world, complete with original fancy moldings...SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNN).  Last night, just before I fell asleep, I opened my eyes for a second and realized I felt like a little doll in a human sized house (they say 12 foot ceilings will do that to a girl).  When Ken comes home, life will be complete.
"COME ON BARBIE LET'S GO PARTY....ahh ahh ahh yeah..."

NOTE:
If you are a new reader to this blog,
please know that the figurative "KEN" is
actually my literal husband "RW"....I hope
I did not confuse you terribly, I was
trying to keep on with the doll analogy.
Then, of course, I couldn't help but sing
the Aqua song to you...
Here's a quick peek at part of the yard.  Behind me is part of my unruly rose garden (I pruned it to smithereens yesterday).  To my right is the infamous 850 square foot studio!  It's really a second house.  I have my workspace partially set up and the goal for today is to get it ENTIRELY
positioned and calibrated for optimum joyful makery.

I'm finished my coffee here at my local purveyor of fine caffeinated
beverages and I'm off to do a grocery shop and then home to settle into
the day.

I hope you are all well.  Sorry for the dreadful bout of silence.
Today I imagine you all flying together,
a flock of sparrows,
a swooping shadow over fields of green and clusters of sheep.
Every once in a while you all drop to the earth, like dainty stones made of the same soul stuffs,
to nibble on grain and to sit on the
backs of lambs as they go about their terrestrial day.

Isn't it wonderful to be able to fly?
XO

PS I apologize if I have not answered your emails or Etsy convos as of yet.  I will
not have an interwebular connection at my new abode until tomorrow at 5PM.

Good to hear that you survived! I was a little anxious about you.

Your bedroom looks warm and charming with its red details. And that studio sounds delicious--can't wait for the photos.

"I think I would probably come to the conclusion that I'd like it for a while... but in the end, I'd still prefer the sound of the wind in the firs across the brook more than the tinkling of crystal. "

(must not sound jealous, must not sound jealous, must not-)OH HIIII!!! I'm so very happy for you and R.W. and the four-legged kids!! I really am Jill. There's a twinge of the ol' envy in my tummy but it's pretty much drowned out by being happy that you're happy. I know you guys have been wanting this for a long time and now it's finally here!! I can't wait to come visit - I'm trying to work out a scenario in my mind where that could work, but I don't think it will be for some time......so the pictures will have to do!!! Someday I'll see you face to face again, and that will be a happy day for me indeed!!

I was also wondering about you, but glad to know you can escape when you need to and that you are well.

Glad to see one stunning house fit one stunning lady (and RW and pups too)

A house! A lair/gables/abode! It is such a joy to hear from you after your frantic break away moving. I have been thinking of you all the while; hoping it all went well. And it seems to! I cannot wait to see more photos of the wee home!

Oh, Plume, my heart ached not to hear your internet-voice after such a lonely sounding post, but I know now you're well :)
And this home looks exactly like it will become the comfy nest I'd expect you to create.

I'm fighting pangs of covetousness as I stare longingly at the tiny corner of your spacious new shop to be used for the creating of all things lovely and plume-tastic. I really am excited for you, in a "jealous rage-y" sort of way ;)

Oh Plumey,

You nest looks stable and strong. I have been waiting for the pictures and that sneek peek brings me so much joy for you.

Imagine all the work, all the creative energy, all the positivity that will flow out of that space - a studio with roots has to be one of the best places in the world.

Give RW a little wink for me!

Well!
You've all been so sweet that I feel a need to reply to each and every one of you:)

Liz: I snapped a few photos of the studio this morning! They'll be up sometime soon!

Suzy: EXACTLY! We'll have to get together and watch my entire box set sometime! XO

Lindsay: I'll let you develop chamber 3 of the studio as a dark room space if you like! You can do a retreat here at The Gables!

KJK: You DID talk to me soon and I was glad to have you in my room last night...or at least the cellular version of you. XO

Nunners: There's a rumor that JJ will be joining RW's crew next year. You should come out and keep his other half company while the boys are away. Bring Latte.

BC: MMMMMOVING TRIUMPHS INDEED! You should see my biceps. Kaboing!

Jenn: You'll get your house one day too and I'll rejoice with you then! Patience:)

Mme: How sweet of you to say!

Hover of New Moon: AHHHHHH! Thanks for your thoughts during the move, I'm sure they saved me from back injury and finger pinches between table tops and door frames!

Lulu: EVERYBODY wants the owl!

Sunny: I'm well as well can be! You're sweet!

Em: The new home should facilitate our iChat times...be prepared. My new phone jacks shall ensure interwebular connectivity!

KVPA: I stayed up until 3:30AM the night I moved in and made sure my room was to my liking. THAT'S how:)

Jordan: It is a happy yellow sanctuary in every way.

Umber: Consider the wink delivered!

Nancy: It was a serious task. I had some great girlfriends help me out during the day though so I wasn't ALL alone the entire time.

XOXOXOXO
Thanks for these little notes!
I'm still without internet at the homestead so bear with me while the final details of life in the new home are popped into place!
